Orange MS Awareness Ribbon Earrings

Typically associated with a monarch butterfly, many individuals with MS relate to the cycle of a caterpillar-to-butterfly from the challenging transformation that this chronic neurodegenerative illness presents. MRI imaging is most commonly used to diagnose MS patients. Remarkably, the brain resembles the wings of a butterfly from the axial view.

These earrings are handcrafted by Katelyn, a multiple sclerosis patient and advocate who was diagnosed in November 2020. Just a couple months later, The Twisted Woodland was founded.

$5 from every pair of earrings sold will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, a nonprofit focused on helping patients and their families/caregivers get access to services. It was through a MSF program that Katelyn was able to obtain a cooling vest and cooling packs that she still uses to this day, and she wants to pay it forward to help others have the same opportunity she had.
